How long after my transplant before I can stop being careful with my hair?

Question: “It has been about 4 months since my transplant, I am still pretty sensitive with my scalp, I mean, Ive invested alot on my transplant, I don’t want to do any harm to the new hairs. When can I stop thinking so much about the permenancy of my hair?”

Answer: “You are being far to obsessive about your hair, and perhaps you were poorly informed about the post-op timeline. Your hairs were permenant, at the most, two weeks after your transplant. Treat your hair like it is your natural hair…this is what you paid for. Dr. Jones”
