Dr. Robert Jones appeared live on CTV Your Morning to discuss a new drug that could ease the distress of men and women who suffer from baldness.
The groundbreaking study came from the laboratory of Prof Ralf Paus and was published on May 8, 2018, in the open access journal PLOS Biology. The study shows that a drug that was originally designed to treat osteoporosis has an effect on human hair follicles that causes stimulation. The follicles studied were donated by patients who were undergoing hair transplant surgery.
