Tanning and skin sensitivity after a Hair Transplant

Question: “I had a hair transplant three months ago, and I have two questions. My head is still pink, when will that go away? And, At what point is it safe for me to go tanning?

Answers: “Pinkness is usually gone by 3 months. I think you should see your doctor and ask about treating this area with some limited steroids topically. I stress that this should be done under the observatin of your doctor. As for tanning, your skin is still ultra-sensitive, I wouldn’t recomend it at this time.”
