FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction. Unlike FUT, where a strip of the donor area is cut from the patient’s scalp, with FUE the hair follicles are individually extracted from the donor area, one by one.
The advantages of FUE are –

There is minimal pain with great results

Decreased healing time
The disadvantages of FUE are –
It costs more when compared to FUT
You must shave your head prior to surgery
It takes longer than FUT
