This is a 45-year-old male patient shown before and 15 months after a 2500 graft FUE hair transplant surgery to restore his hairline and frontal scalp.
This patient had been experiencing ongoing and progressive male pattern hair loss for almost 20 years and had never taken any steps to slow, stop, or reverse his hair loss. He wanted to focus on restoring his hairline and frontal scalp as a priority.
We discussed that surgery would really be the only option to do this and recommended a 2500 graft FUE surgery so that he could continue to wear his hair short on the sides and back. At the same time, we initiated complementary therapy with finasteride and high-strength minoxidil to slow down and stop any further hair loss.
He returned 15 months later for follow up and he’s really happy with the results! Before his surgery, the absence of his hairline created a large “dome” effect on his scalp. After his surgery, he has a new hairline which completely conceals his scalp and provides a natural-appearing frame to his face. He’s continued on his supplementary finasteride and minoxidil without any further hair loss.
