How do you decide how many grafts a patient will need?

QUESTION: Hi Dr. Jones I was wondering how you go about deciding how many grafts a patient will require?

ANSWER: After 15 years of seeing patients with hair loss and doing over 3000 transplants, I can tell very quickly if a patient is a candidate and the number of grafts he will require. The toughest part is dealing with patient expectations and making sure I can deliver the amount of hair and density they are expecting.
