QUESTION: After the transplant, what will happen to the donor area from which the hair has been taken? Will there be a scar?
ANSWER: With state-of-the-art techniques and the latest “trichophytic closure”, the scar is almost undetectable. In some cases, due to differences in patient healing, a scar can be seen, but can be repaired with the FUE technique. I do this free of charge if patients are unhappy with their scar.
