Question: I heard that chemicals used in perms and hair relaxing products can cause scalp disfigurement. Does this lead to hair loss? Answer: I don’t know the facts regarding scalp disfigurement, but I can say that chemicals do lead to hair loss and burns when associated with allergies and misuse. .
