A receding hairline is more than just a change in appearance; for many of our Toronto patients, it’s a shift in how they present themselves to the world. In this featured case study, we highlight a comprehensive restoration using a 2425 graft FUE hair transplant to rebuild the frontal hairline and reinforce the mid-scalp/crown density.
The Strategy: Density and Design
For a transplant of this scale, the priority is creating an “age-appropriate” yet youthful transition. Our surgical team used Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) to harvest 2425 grafts (individual units) from the donor site. By strategically placing these grafts, we achieved:
- Macro-Irregularity: Mimicking the natural, slightly staggered pattern of a real hairline to avoid a “pluggy” look.
- Optimal Graft Grouping: Placing single-hair follicles at the very front and multi-hair follicular units further back for maximum volume.
Permanent, Natural Results
At our clinic, we focus on the long-term aesthetic. Because we utilize the latest in FUE hair transplant technology, the patient experienced minimal downtime and virtually invisible scarring. 12 months post-procedure, the results show a seamless blend between the transplanted hair and the existing strands.
