This is a 37 yo non-binary AMAB person who had been suffering typical patterned hair loss for a few years. They were seeking a gender affirming hair transplant to feminize their hairline so that their hair would be more consistent with their gender identity. We performed an FUT surgery resulting in total graft yield of about 2000 grafts. In an FUT procedure, there is no need to shave the donor area so this patient was able to preserve their long hair.
They returned just less than a year later with the results you see here. You can see a significant reduction in the male-pattern recessions in the front of the hairline with a much more rounded, feminine feel. The surgical incision is fully concealed behind their long hair. They’re very happy with the results and we couldn’t be happier, too!
